- Chicken: 1 kg
- Onion: 3
- Green chilly: 3
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbs
- Chilly powder: 3/4 tsp
- Coriander powder: 2 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Yogurt: 1/4 cup
- Cashew: 10
- Almond: 10
- Milk: 3 tbs
- Cumin seeds: 1/2 tsp
- Ghee: 2-3 tbs
- Coriander leaves: little
- Salt: to taste
- Marinate chicken pieces with turmeric powder and yogurt for 30-45 minutes.
- Soak almond and cashew in milk for 10 minutes. Grind them into paste.
- Boil ghee in a wok, sputter cumin seeds in it.
- Now add chopped onion and saute till it turns light brownish.
- Now add ginger-garlic, green chilly paste and saute till its raw smell moves.
- Now add the marinated chicken and saute for 5-6 minutes.
- Add cashew-almond paste and cook for another 3-4 minutes by stirring.
- Add chilly, coriander, garam masala powder and saute till a pleasant aroma comes out.
- Now add 1-1&1/2 cup of water, stir well and cook till chicken gets cooked in low flame with closed lid.
- Add chopped coriander leaves and turn off the flame.
