Healthy Golden Balls

Golden balls or surprise balls are delicious, healthy snack  prepared with banana, green gram, coconut and few more ingredients. Green grams are rich in vitamin and many other nutrients. Bananas are also rich nutrient content fruit. A snack with the combination of these brings a wonderful healthy one. As it is sweet, children will surely love it. Healthy Golden Balls

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Big banana: 3/4 kg
  2. Green gram: 1/2 cup(cooked)
  3. Grated coconut: 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar: to your taste
  5. Cardamom powder: 1/4 tsp
  6. Cashew: 1/4 cup
  7. Ghee: 1 tbs
  8. Oil: for frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Heat ghee in a pan and roast cashew pieces.
  • Now add grated coconut, cardamom powder, sugar, mix well and cook till it is done well.
  • Mash the cooked green gram with 1 tbs of sugar.
  • Cook bananas and mash it well .
  • Now take little mashed green gram, roll it to small sheet with your fingers and place little coconut mix in middle of it.
  • Cover the coconut mix by rolling green gram mix into a ball.
  • Now cover the green gram ball with mashed banana.
  • Repeat the steps for all the prepared ingredients finishes.
  • Heat oil in a pan and cook the balls in low flame till it turns golden brown color.
Delicious and healthy balls are ready. Try and enjoy cooking.
