Biriyani is most lovable food among rice. there are varieties of biriyani prepared in variant steps or recipes. Here comes a delicious and easy recipe for chicken biriyani prepared in cooker. Here we cook both chicken and rice together which will enrich the taste and flavor of rice . It is the simplest and quick way of biriyani preparation, just give a try on it.

- Biriyani rice: 2 cup
- Chicken: 1/2 kg
- Onion: 3
- Tomato: 2
- Garlic paste: 1 tbs
- Ginger paste: 2 tsp
- Green chilly: 5(pasted)
- Garam masala powder: 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Biriyani masala powder: 1/2 tsp
- Lime: 1
- Cardamom: 2
- Cloves: 2
- Cinnamon: 2 piece
- Ghee: 3-4 tbs
- Coriander leaves: 1/2 cup
- Mint leaves: 1/2 cup
- Boiling water: 3 cup
- Salt: to taste
- Place a cooker in flame and heat ghee in it.
- Saute chopped onion in it till it turns brownish
- Now add ginger-garlic-greenchilly paste and saute till its raw smell moves.
- Add tomato pieces and saute well.
- Next we have to saute garam masala powder, turmeric powder, coriander and mint leaves chopped, lime juice and salt.
- Saute it well and add chicken pieces to it.
- Mix well and add rice, 3 cups boiling water, cardamom, cloves and cinnamon to it.
- Also add biriyani masala and mix all the ingredients well.
- Now place the lid of cooker and cook in low flame till a whistle releases.
- Turn off the flame and open only after all pressure releases by itself.
