Layered Jelly Pudding

Layered jelly pudding is a soft lovely multi colored pudding which tastes delicious. It is prepared by layers of different flavored jelly and are separated with layer of milk- china grass mixture. It is a best choice for a colorful party.

Layered Jelly Pudding

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Jelly powder:4( different flavors of your choice)
  2. Milk: 1 L
  3. Hot water: 1 L
  4. Condensed milk: 1 tin
  5. China-grass: 10 g
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Cut china grass into small pieces and soak it in water for 10 minutes and melt in low flame.
  • Boil milk with condensed with. When it starts boiling, Mix melted china grass and stir till it combines well with milk.
  • Turn off the flame and keep aside.
  • Now mix first flavor jelly with 1 cup hot water and pour it to a tray.
  • Keep it in freezer for 10 minutes to set.
  •  Divide the milk-condensed milk into three equal parts and over over the first jelly layer.
  • Keep it in freezer for another 10 minutes to set.
  • Meanwhile prepare jelly with another flavor by mixing with 1 cup hot water.
  • When the second layer sets , pour the prepared jelly over it and keep refrigerated for 10 minutes.
  • When it sets pour the second part of milk over it. If it started thickening or not able to pour, just give a heat to melt it or stir in intervals not to get set.
  • Keep this in refrigerator for 10 minutes.
  • By the cooling time, mix third flavor of jelly with 1 cup hot water and keep aside.
  • When the milk layer get set, pour the jelly over it and allow it to set in refrigerator.
  • Now pour the last part of milk mix over it and allow to set.(if it became thick , loosen it by heating little before pouring.
  • Now Mix the last jelly with water and pour over the previous layers.
  • Refrigerate for 2-3 hours to set.
  • Note: Avoid directions in jelly pack and use only 1 cup of hot water while mixing.
Delicious, attractive layered jelly pudding is ready. Cut and serve chilled.
