Steamed Chocolate Cake

Chocolate cakes or simply cakes are delicious and are favorite for most of us especially our little ones. Many loves cooking and are crazy to cook while seeing photos and recipes . But someone cannot cook cake because they don't have oven. Here comes a delicious recipe of chocolate cake for such persons . Here cake is prepared by steaming process. Its a delicious recipe which brings a soft chocolaty cake.


Steamed Chocolate Cake Recipe


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All purpose flour: 1 cup
  2. Cocoa powder: 4 tbs
  3. Powdered sugar: 1 cup
  4. Egg: 1
  5. Milk: 1 cup
  6. Baking powder: 1 tsp
  7. Baking soda: 1/2 tsp
  8. Vinegar: 2 tbs
  9. Vanilla essence: 1 tsp
  10. Butter: 1 tsp
  11. Salt: a pinch
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Mix 2 tbs of vinegar with milk and keep aside for 15 minutes to get soured.
  • Mix all purpose flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and  a pinch of salt by sieving altogether 2 times .
  • Beat egg and powdered sugar using a egg beater till it foams well.
  • Mix essence in it.
  • Melt butter and allow it to cool.
  • Pour cooled and melted butter to the beaten egg mixture and mix well. 
  • Now simultaneously add powder mixture and sour milk little by little, mix well without foaming any lump.
  • Pour this batter over a greased tray and cover the mouth with a butter paper or aluminium foil to prevent the steam escape.
  • Now steam it in a steamer for 45 minutes in high flame.
  • After 45 minutes. take it out and open the mouth, allow it to cool.
  • Cut into any shapes after cooling and serve.
  • You can also give icing or cream topping over it.

Yummy and soft Steamed chocolate cake is ready. You can consume as itself or decorate it with icing or cream before serving.
