Kajah is a delicious crispy snack with little sweetness loves to eat at any time. It is a fried layered snack. Its a combination of all purpose flour and wheat flour. as it is crispy and sweet our kids will love it too.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- All purpose flour: 2 cup
- Wheat flour: 1 cup
- Dalda/ghee: 1/2 cup
- Sugar: 2 cup
- Oil: 2 cup
- Cardamom: 2
- Salt: to taste.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix all purpose flour, wheat flour , salt and 1 tbs of dalda. Prepare a smooth dough by mixing water.
- Make it into balls and roll it to a very thin layer.
- Now spread dalda all over it and fold it in zigzag manner( as we do while preparing paratha)
- If the prepare kajah dough is too large, you can cut into pieces you wish.
- Now deep-fry it in oil till it become crispy.
- Prepare sugar syrup of single thread consistency. add cardamom while preparing it.
- Sprinkle sugar syrup immediately after taking out from oil and allow it to cool.
- Repeat steps for every balls.
