Kajah

Kajah is a delicious crispy snack with little sweetness loves to eat at any time. It is a fried layered snack. Its a combination of  all purpose flour and wheat flour. as it is crispy and sweet our kids will love it too.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All purpose flour: 2 cup
  2. Wheat flour: 1 cup
  3. Dalda/ghee: 1/2 cup
  4. Sugar: 2 cup
  5. Oil: 2 cup
  6. Cardamom: 2
  7. Salt: to taste.
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Mix all purpose flour, wheat flour , salt and 1 tbs of dalda. Prepare a smooth dough by mixing water.
  • Make it into balls and roll it to a very thin layer.
  • Now spread dalda all over it and fold it in zigzag manner( as we do while preparing paratha)
  • If the prepare kajah dough is too large, you can cut into pieces you wish.
  • Now deep-fry it in oil till it become crispy.
  • Prepare sugar syrup of single thread consistency. add cardamom while preparing it.
  • Sprinkle sugar syrup immediately after taking out from oil and allow it to cool.
  • Repeat steps for every balls.
Lovely crispy kajah is ready. Consume after cooling or store in airtight container.
