Chilly garlic rice is a delicious and simple rice recipe from oriental dinner menu. It is little bit spicy with a flavor of honey. Here we cook rice first and are spiced and flavored. We use Crushed red chilly to convert it spicy. Spiciness can be adjusted according to your taste.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Basmati rice: 1&1/2 cup
- Ghee: 1 tbs
- Chopped garlic: 1 tbs
- Crushed red chilly: 1 tbs
- Lime juice: 1 tbs
- Oil: 1 tbs
- Salt : 2 tsp
- Wash and drain the rice.
- Cook it with 4-4&1/2 cup of water.
- When it cooks, add lime juice, salt and oil mix well and turn off the flame.
- Immediately remove the excess water by straining it.
- Take a pan and heat ghee.
- Saute garlic in it
- When it changes to light brownish, add crushed chilly, saute and turn off the flame.
- To this, add drained rice and mix well. Adjust the salt by tasting it.
