Bruschetta

Bruschetta is a simple and lovely snack with long bread. It is an Italian dish prepared with grilled or baked bread. It has a crunchy base with a topping of few healthy ingredients. First we bake long bread pieces to convert it into crunchy and then are topped with few vegetables and spices and are garnished with cheese grates. It has a variant and lovely taste.

Brushetta

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Italian Long Bread: 1
  2. Plum Tomato( instead use 1-2 normal small tomato also): 7-8
  3. Garlic:3-4 cloves
  4. Basil / mint leaves: 5-6
  5. Balsamic Vinegar: 2 tsp
  6. Extravirgin Olive Oil:L 4 tsp
  7. Pepper Powder: 1/2 tsp
  8. Butter: 1 tbs
  9. Parmesan Cheese: for garnishing
  10. Salt :to Taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Cut long bread into slices of half inch thickness.
  • Place these slices in a baking tray and spread butter and 2 tsp of olive on top.
  • Preheat oven to 230 degree and place the baking tray in it and bake for 4-5 minutes.
  • Sides of slices have to change to golden brown color and it turned to crispy.
  • Before that we have to prepare topping.
  • Remove the seeds of tomatoes and cut into small pieces.
  • Garlic cloves are also finely chopped.
  • Basil leaves are cut in thin pieces.
  • Mix all these in a bowl and mix balsamic vinegar, olive oil, pepper powder and salt.
  • Keep it side for 10-15 minutes.
  • Place these mixture on top of baked slices and are garnished with grated parmesan cheese.
Lovely and crunchy Bruschetta are ready. Consume freshly prepared for better taste
