Guava is one of the lovable fruit that are growing in most of the house backyards. It has many health benefits. It helps to prevent constipation, diarrhea, cough, cold, high blood pressure, skin diseases and are presenting a great role in weight loss too. Here comes a healthy pudding recipe with guava which is simple and easy.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Guava: 4 (medium)
- Milk: 2 cup
- Condensed milk: 1/2 cup
- China grass: 4 g
- Peel off the skin of guava and puree it with 1 cup of milk.
- Filter it to remove the seeds and get smooth puree of guava.
- Soak china grass in 1/2 cup of water for 10-15 minutes.
- In a nonstick pan, boil remaining milk along with condensed milk .
- In another pan melt china grass.
- When milk-condensed milk mixture starts boiling, add guava puree.
- Mix well and cook for few minutes. Never boil it.
- Then add melted china grass, stir well and turn off the flame.
- Pour it to a pudding bowl and allow it to cool down.
- Then refrigerate it
- Demould pudding into a tray once set .
- Garnish and cut into any shapes according to your taste.
