Easy Caramel Pudding Recipe



Puddings or desserts are dishes which we cannot avoid during special occasions. Here comes a simple pudding recipe which is healthy and yummy too. It doesn't use any artificial solidifying  agent , so its healthy. Its preparation is completely with egg and milk both are rich in protein content and available in our house anytime.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Egg: 4
  2. Milk: 1 cup
  3. Sugar: 5+2 tbs
  4. Vanilla essence: 1 tsp / cardamom: 2
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Pour egg, milk, 5 tbs of sugar, vanilla essence or cardamom in a mixer jar and mix well.
  • Take a baking tray, spread 1-2 tbs of sugar throught the tray and keep in direct flame without stirring.
  • Sugar turns brown and gives caramel syrup.
  • Pour the egg- milk mixture above it, cover with a foil .
  • Place it in a steamer and steam for 15-20 minutes. Insert a knife in the middle, if it comes clear while removing, turn off the steamer and allow the pudding to cool.
  • When it cools to room temperature, demould it to another tray or plate and refrigerate.

Delicious and simple caramel pudding is ready. Serve chilled by converting into any shape.
