Now it's jackfruit season, so let's start our experiments on jackfruit. We used to buy and eat crispy and lovely jackfruit chips from bakeries. We can prepare it so quickly and easily with raw jackfruit from home itself in healthy way. Try and enjoy eating.
- Raw jackfruit: 1
- Turmeric powder: 1 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: for deep frying
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Cut jackfruit and take out the jackfruit cloves.
- Clean it, remove seed and cut the flesh part into strips.
- Marinate it with turmeric powder and salt. Measurement of salt and turmeric powder varies to the size of jackfruit we are taking.
- Spread it on a tray and allow it to dry on sunshine for 3-4 minutes. It will ease the frying.
- You can also directly add it to oil which will take more time for frying than my procedure.
- Heat oil in a deep pan and fry the jackfruit chips in batches in medium low flame. Donot overload the oil.
- Drain the oil, allow it to cool and store in airtight container for future use.
Awesome, Crispy and healthy Jackfruit Chips are ready. You can store in airtight container for longer period.
