Chicken Noodles

Noodles are nowadays became common and favorite food throughout the world especially for our lovely kids. We can easily prepare from our kitchen with commonly available ingredients. Lets try this simple and yummy recipe to enjoy ever-delicious chicken noodles by yourself.

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Noodles: 400 g
  2. Chicken: 200 g (Boneless)
  3. Egg: 3
  4. Onion: 1
  5. Carrot: 1
  6. Capsicum: 1
  7. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tbs
  8. Spring onion white: 3 tbs
  9. Lemon juice: 1 tbs
  10. Pepper powder: 3 tsp
  11. Cornflour: 3 tbs
  12. Soy sauce:1&1/2 tsp
  13. Red chilly sauce: 1 tbs
  14. Oil: 6 tbs
  15. butter: 2 tbs
  16. Salt: to taste
  17. Spring onion green: to garnish
  18. Green chilly( cut into rings): 2( to garnish, optional)
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Boil water to cook noodles.
  • when it starts boiling , add in 1 tbs oil, required salt and noodles and cook till noodles is done.
  • After that drain the water and place in running water, to avoid sticking. Drain and mix in little oil with noodles.
  • Cut the boneless chicken into cubes or strips and marinate it with a mixture of 1 egg, 3 tbs cornflour, 1/2 tsp pepper powder, 1 tbs lemon juice, and salt for 10- 15 minutes.
  • Cut carrot and capsicum into thin strips. You can also use cabbage . Cut onion and spring onion into small pieces.
  • Heat 2 tbs oil in a pan and cook marinated chicken pieces in it by stirring occasionally. No need of adding excess marinade as it may bring unwanted coating to chicken pieces.
  • Meanwhile, mix in 2 eggs with 1/2 tsp pepper powder and salt.
  • When chicken is done, take out the chicken pieces, add 1 tbs oil and pour egg mix to same pan and scramble it.
  • Take out the scrambled egg from pan and add remaining oil and 2 tbs butter to the same pan.
  • Saute spring onion white and chopped onion till soft and translucent.
  • Now add in ginger-garlic paste and saute till its raw smell moves.
  • Next we have to add stripped carrots and capsicum and stir cook for 3-4 minutes in high flame. Add cabbage also if you are using.
  • Reduce the flame and add in pepper powder and salt.
  • Now mix in chicken pieces and scrambled egg and stir well.
  • Pour in soy sauce and red chilly sauce and mix well.
  • Now slowly fold cooked noodles with prepared masala mixture.
  • Take care to use comparatively large pan to ease mixing.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes and turn off the flame.
  • Garnish it with spring onion green and green chilly rings .
Delicious Chicken Noodles is ready, Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
