Here comes a simple creamy and healthy pudding with layers of oreo and creamy, chocolaty Cornflour mixture. The main highlight of this pudding is the caramelized coconut and cashew topping. Give a try on this healthy and quick pudding.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- oreo biscuits: 20
- Milk: 1 litre
- Cornflour: 6 tbs
- Cocoa powder: 2 tbs
- Sugar: 10 tbs( adjust to your taste)+2-3 tbs
- Grated coconut: 1 cup
- Cashew pieces: 1/2 cup
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Boil 1 litre milk( reserve half cup for dissolving corn flour) with 10 tbs sugar and cocoa powder.
- Meanwhile mix Cornflour with half cup milk.
- When milk mixture starts boiling , pour in Cornflour mix and boil by frequent stirring till it thickens.
- Turn off the the flame.
- Powder the oreo biscuits along with its cream.
- Layer a pudding tray with half of powdered oreo .
- Pour half of pudding mix above the oreo layer.
- Refrigerate for 5-10 minutes.
- Again make a layer of powdered oreo and then with remaining pudding mix.
- Heat a pan and add grated coconut, cashew and sugar.
- Roast it till they turns caramelized , crisp and brownish.
- Decorate the top of pudding with this caramelized coconut and cashew.
- Refrigerate for 3-4 hours or until chilled.
Delicious and healthy Chocolate Cornflour Oreo Pudding is ready. Scoop and serve chilled.
