INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- All purpose flour: 2 cup
- Sugar: 2 cup
- Vanaspathi/ oil: 1/2 kg
- Rice powder: 100 g
- Salt: little
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Prepare a smooth dough like chapathi with all purpose flour, salt and water.
- Convert them into balls And roll it into thin sheets like chapathi by dipping the balls on rice flour.
- Now cut them into diamond shapes and fry them in hit vanaspathi or oil till crispy. Vanaspathi frying gives more tasty.
- Prepare thick sugar Syrup and pour it in a wide mouth tray.
- Add fried diamond cuts in sugar syrup, immediately after taken from pan ,before it cools down.
- Slowly takeout from syrup without breaking and allow it to cool and dries up.
Delicious, crispy and sweet Diamond Cuts are ready. Store in airtight container.
