Diamond Cuts/ Panchasara Para

Diamond cuts or panchasara para is a delicious crispy snack with little sweetness. It is really yummy and loves to have at any time especially during this cold rainy season. Give a try to enjoy this sweet crispy snack.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. All purpose flour: 2 cup
  2. Sugar: 2 cup
  3. Vanaspathi/ oil: 1/2 kg
  4. Rice powder: 100 g
  5. Salt: little
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Prepare a smooth dough like chapathi with all purpose flour, salt and water.
  • Convert them into balls And roll it into thin sheets like chapathi by dipping the balls on rice flour.
  • Now cut them into diamond shapes and fry them in hit vanaspathi or oil till crispy. Vanaspathi frying gives more tasty.
  • Prepare thick sugar Syrup and pour it in a wide mouth tray.
  • Add fried diamond cuts in sugar syrup, immediately after taken from pan ,before it cools down.
  • Slowly takeout from syrup without breaking and allow it to cool and dries up.
Delicious, crispy and sweet Diamond Cuts are ready. Store in airtight container.
