Nowadays, most of all people loves to have a bite of pizza. Here comes a easy and simple pizza recipe prepared in pan or stove top. It is really yummy and lovely, give a try for Ifthar or any time.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION For Pizza Base
- All purpose flour: 2 cup
- Instant yeast: 1tsp
- Olive oil: 2 tbs
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Sugar: 1 tsp
For Filling
- Chicken cubes(cooked with pepper and salt): 1 cup
- Onion: 1/4 cup
- Tomato: 1/4 cup
- Capsicum: 1 medium
- Olive: 2-3 tbs(optional)
- Pepper powder: 1 tsp
- Salt : to taste
- Pizza or tomato sauce: to spread
- Grated mozzarella cheese: 1 cup
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Mix sugar and yeast in a bowl and pour little warm water in it. Keep aside for 5-10 minutes to form bubbles.
- Add all purpose flour in a mixing bowl and mix olive oil and salt with it.
- Scramble it for 5 minutes with your fingers so that it turns to crumby consistency.
- Now mix yeast mix and knead.
- After little more water if needed and knead it to smooth dough . Knead it for 5-6 minutes to get a smooth dough.
- Wet a cotton cloth and cover the dough for at least 2 hours.
- After that convert it into two balls and roll it into little thick( not too thick or too thin) sheets. You can prepare two base out of it.
- Heat a non stick pan , and place the sheet in it. Flame should be in low.
- When the lower side turns lightly brownish, flip to other side.
- Make holes with a fork all over the base and spread pizza sauce or tomato sauce all over.
- Cut onion, tomato and capsicum into cubes and mix it with little salt and pepper.
- Eventually distribute it over the base. Also add olive pieces if using.
- Also add chicken pieces throughout.
- Top it with grated mozzarella cheese and close the lid of pan.
- Cook for 6-8 minutes in low flame, or till the cheese melts and lower base turns lightly brownish. Check the lower part of base evenly to avoid burning.
Delicious and easy Pan Pizza is ready. Serve hot.
