Cheese corn balls are delicious snack recipe prepared with corn kernals in combination with cheese and few other ingredients. It is delicious and healthy and are lovely for Ifthar , tiffin or any other parties or treats. Give a try upon this awesome cheesy balls.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Sweet corn kernels: 1 cup
- Milk: 1/2 cup
- Butter : 2 TBS
- Green chilly : 2
- Pepper powder: 1/4 tsp
- Cheese grated: 3 TBS
- Corn flour: 3/4 cup
- Bread crumbs: for rolling
- Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Crush the corn using a mixer jar. Don't paste it.
- Cut green chilly into fine pieces.
- Heat butter in a pan and mix 2 TBS of cornflour.
- Add milk and stir cook till it thickens.
- Allow it to cool little and mix it with crushed corn, green chilly, grated cheese, salt and pepper.
- Refrigerate for 30-45 minutes and convert them into small balls.
- Prepare thick batter with remaining cornflour and dip each ball in it.
- Roll each dipped ball in bread crumbs and deep fry in hot oil till golden brown
Delicious and cheesy corn balls are ready. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.
