Stuffed chicken is a delicious whole chicken recipe that are prepared in large varieties by stuffing different ingredients. Here comes one of such wonderful recipe from calicut. Here we stuff Chicken with boiled egg and little masala and are then cooked with masala. This is a wonderful tasty recipe, give a try on it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Whole chicken: 1( 500-600 g)
- Egg: 2
- Onion: 1/2 kg
- Tomato: 1/4 kg
- Green chilly: 4
- Garlic: 1 bulb
- Ginger: 1 inch
- Chilly powder: 1 tbs
- Garam masala: a pinch
- Turmeric owder: 1 tsp
- Curry leaves: 2 strings
- Coriander leaves: 1/4 cup
- Mint leaves: 1/4 cup
- Salt: to taste
- Oil: as required
- Clean inside and outside of chicken.
- Marinate the inner part with little salt, turmeric powder and little chilly powder.
- Boil egg and remove its shell.
- Heat oil in a wok and saute chopped onion in it till it turns to golden brown.
- Now add salt, greenchilly-ginger-garlic paste and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Reserve little masala from it to fill the chicken.
- Now add tomato pieces to remaining onion masala and saute till it mashes.
- Add chilly powder, garam masala powder and saute for 3-4 minutes.
- Next add curry, coriander and mint leaves and stir well.
- Turn off the flame.
- Fill the chicken with reserved masala and boiled eggs.
- Tie the legs in opposite directions.
- Fry the chicken in hot oil.
- Now add the fried chicken in prepared masala and cook for 20-25 minutes in low flame.
