Shabnam Paneer

Shabnam paneer is a lovely paneer recipe along with green peas and mushroom. All these ingredients are of highly nutritious, thus the curry too. It is a thick cream gravy with cashew paste and cream, so it tastes greater with rice or roti. It is a simple recipe, give a try on it.


INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Paneer: 1/2 cup
  2. Green peas: 1/2 cup
  3. Mushroom: 1/4 cup
  4. Onion: 1
  5. Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
  6. Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
  7. Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
  8. Garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
  9. Tomato: 1
  10. Cashew paste: 1 tbs
  11. Cream: 2 tsp
  12. Coriander leaves : little
  13. Oil: 1 tbs
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Cook green peas and mushroom separately.
  • Fry the paneer cubes to golden color.
  • Now heat a pan, Add oil in it.
  • Saute chopped onion in it till it turns light brownish.
  • Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1-2  minutes.
  • Then add cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder.
  • Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Add tomato pieces and saute till it mashes well.
  • Next we have to add cashew paste , cook for 2 minutes by stirring.
  • Now add fried paneer, cooked green peas and mushroom and mix well.
  • Add little water , mix and cook for sometime in low flame.
  • Now add cream, mix well and turn off the flame.
  • Garnish it with coriander leaves
Delicious and healthy Shabnam Paneer is ready. Serve hot
