Shabnam paneer is a lovely paneer recipe along with green peas and mushroom. All these ingredients are of highly nutritious, thus the curry too. It is a thick cream gravy with cashew paste and cream, so it tastes greater with rice or roti. It is a simple recipe, give a try on it.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Paneer: 1/2 cup
- Green peas: 1/2 cup
- Mushroom: 1/4 cup
- Onion: 1
- Ginger-garlic paste: 1 tsp
- Cumin powder: 1/2 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/4 tsp
- Garam masala powder: 1/4 tsp
- Tomato: 1
- Cashew paste: 1 tbs
- Cream: 2 tsp
- Coriander leaves : little
- Oil: 1 tbs
- Cook green peas and mushroom separately.
- Fry the paneer cubes to golden color.
- Now heat a pan, Add oil in it.
- Saute chopped onion in it till it turns light brownish.
- Add ginger-garlic paste and saute for 1-2 minutes.
- Then add cumin powder, turmeric powder, garam masala powder.
- Stir well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomato pieces and saute till it mashes well.
- Next we have to add cashew paste , cook for 2 minutes by stirring.
- Now add fried paneer, cooked green peas and mushroom and mix well.
- Add little water , mix and cook for sometime in low flame.
- Now add cream, mix well and turn off the flame.
- Garnish it with coriander leaves
