Paneer is a lovely and healthy dairy product that are used for preparation of many varieties of dishes. Here comes a delicious tikka recipe with paneer. Paneer is marinated lightly and are dipped in a specially prepared batter and are grilled or baked for few minutes. It is really fantastic recipe, give a try on it. Even kids will love it as most kids are fond of fries or tikkas. As a dairy product it is more healthier than chicken or other meat. - Paneer: 1/2 kg
- Ginger-garlic paste: 2 tsp
- Lime juice: 2 tsp
- Curd: 1/2 cup
- Caraway: 1 tsp(optional)
- Besan: 2 tbs
- Chilly powder: 1 tsp
- Turmeric powder: 1/2 tsp
- Salt: to taste
- Marinate paneer cubes with lime juice, ginger-garlic paste and salt for sometime.
- Take a bowl, mix curd, caraway, besan, chilly powder, turmeric powder.
- Dip and cover the paneer cubes with this batter and bake in oven at 180 degree for 15-20 minutes( baking time may vary in ovens, when it gets cooked and turns brownish, turn off the oven).
- You can either screw it in bamboo sticks with capsicum and tomato pieces or simply keep it in baking tray and keep in oven.
