Paneer is the most common cottage cheese cubes, mostly used in India, Nepal. It is a lovely ingredient that are used in curry , salads or rices. Here comes a lovely paneer recipe in methi gravy. Methi paneer is a delicious recipe which goes well with roti or chappathi.

- Paneer: 150 g
- Methi leaves: 3/4 kg
- Onion: 2
- Tomato: 1
- Ginger: 1 piece
- Curd: 2 tbs
- Chilly powder: 1 tsp
- Coriander powder: 1 tsp
- Kasuri methi: 1/2 tsp
- Oil: 3-4 tbs
- Salt: to taste
METHOD OF PREPARATION
- Heat Oil in a pan and fry paneer cubes into golden color.
- Place them in little water.
- Chop methi leaves, sprinkle little salt and keep aside for 10 minutes.
- Heat a kadai, add little oil and saute chopped onion and ginger.
- Add chilly and coriander powders, mix well and saute for 2-3 minutes.
- Squeeze puree from chopped leaves and pour onto masala.
- Add little salt also , stir well and cook for sometime.
- Add chopped tomato ,stir well and cook.
- Paneer cubes and curd are added to the gravy and cooked for 5-6 minutes in low flame.
- Remove from flame.
