Griddle Pancake

Griddle pancake is a lovely and soft pancake recipe prepared with bread crumbs , milk, egg and few more ingredients. As it is soft and sweet, kids will surely love it. Here we use bread crumbs.If you have some bread pieces left for few days, you can utilize it for preparing this lovely pancake. You can serve it alone or by applying little fruit jam over it.




INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Milk: 2&1/4 cup
  2. Egg: 2
  3. Bread crumbs: 1 cup
  4. All purpose flour: 1/2 cup
  5. Baking powder: 2 tsp
  6. Butter: 2 tbs
  7. Sugar: 4 tbs
  8. Salt: 1/4 tsp
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  1. Sift mix all purpose flour and baking powder.
  2. Warm up the milk and add butter to it.
  3. When it melts , add bread crumbs to it and mix well.
  4. Separate egg white and yolk.
  5. Pour egg yolk and sugar to milk mixture and mix well to get combined.
  6. Now mix all purpose flour mixture and salt to it and combine without any lump.
  7. Beat egg white to foam well.
  8. Slowly fold it with the above mixture to get a foamy batter.
  9. Now heat a non-stick or dosa pan and grease little oil.
  10. Pour a small laddle of batter to it.
  11. When it bubbles on top, flip to other side to cook.
  12. Remove it from pan and pour another laddle of batter.
  13. Repeat the steps for whole batter.
Delicious soft and sweet Griddle pancakes are ready. serve alone or with little jam on it.
