Sheikh / Dates Shake

Sheikh shake is a lovely and healthy shake prepared with dates.   Dates are known as the king of dry fruits, hence the shake got the name"Sheikh". Dates have many nutritional benefits. They helps in production of blood. Study have proved daily intake of dates along with a cup of milk have many health benefits. So just prepare a shake with combination of two nutrition rich ingredients. It is really delicious and sweet without sugar addition.


Sheikh / Dates Shake

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
  1. Milk: 2 cup
  2. Dates: 10
  3. Sugar: 1-2 tsp(optional)
METHOD OF PREPARATION
  • Remove seeds from dates and soak it in little water for 15 minutes.
  • Freeze milk. You can also use cold milk, but tastes more with frozen milk. I love it more.
  • Break the frozen milk into pieces or keep it in water for few minutes to loosen it.
  • Now add soaked dates and milk in a juicer and prepare a smooth shake.
  • Add sugar if you loves more sweetness. It is healthy to have without adding sugar as dates itself provide sweetness.
