When we go to hotels or juice shop, we can hear many new and variety names for juices and ice-cream. Duchess of windsor is such a name for apple-dates shake. Apple is a lovely fleshy fruit most popular among fruits. Dates are also lovely and popular among dry fruits. Both have many health and nutritional benefits. A shake with its combination is really delicious ,and healthy.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION
- Apple: 1
- Dates: 10-12
- Milk: 2 cup
- Sugar: if required
- Remove seeds of dates and soak it in little water. Soaking ease the grinding of dates.
- Keep 1 cup of milk in freezer to get freezed. It provides thickness and cold to juice. I love to have such juices, so i use frozen milk while preparing shakes.
- It enriches the taste of shakes. If you don't like too cold, then skip that step
- Peel off the apple and cut into pieces.
- Put apple pieces, soaked dates , frozen milk and cold milk together in a blender and blend it to smooth shake
- As we are adding dates, it will provide sweetness to shake. If you loves more sweetness, then add 1 or 2 tsp of sugar while blending.
