Dates are healthy and lovely dry fruit which have many nutritional values . Dates are rich in iron and are good source for blood production. Hence dates balls are healthy snack for all age groups. No additional sugar is added. Presence of roasted rice flakes and cornflakes brings crunchiness to the snack.
- Dates: 200 g
- Cornflakes: 1/2 cup
- Coconut powder: 2 tbs
- Rice flakes: 2 tbs
- Cashew: 1/2 cup
- Butter: 2 tbs
- Vanilla Essence: 1/4 tsp
- Crush cornflakes.
- Remove seeds of dates and cut into small pieces.
- Heat a pan and roast rice flakes for 2-3 minutes.
- Now add all the remaining ingredients and stir in low flame.
- cook till butter melts.
- When butter melts completely, turn off the flame immediately.
- Allow it to cool.
- When it cools, knead them nicely and make small balls of it.
