Bourbon Ice-cream

Bourbon is a lovely and crunchy chocolaty cream biscuit which everyone loves. When we flavor normal vanilla ice-cream with crushed  bourbon biscuits, it will turn to delicious one. Our little lovable ones will surely love it.

Bourbon Biscuit Ice-cream

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Milk: 2 cup
  2. Egg: 2
  3. Powdered sugar: 1/4 cup
  4. Fresh cream: 1/2 cup
  5. Cornflour: 1 tbs
  6. Vanilla essence: 1/2 tsp
  7. Bourbon biscuits: 8-10
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Separate egg white and yolk.
  • Mix egg yolk, cornflour, powdered sugar with half cup of milk.
  • Pour it to remaining milk in a pan and cook by double-boiling method by continuous stirring till it reach custard consistency.
  • Take out from the flame and mix vanilla essence to it.
  • Allow it to cool.
  • While cooling time, beat cream and egg white separately till it foams well.
  • After it cools completely, mix beaten cream first, then egg white and fold well.
  • Egg white should be beaten just before adding otherwise we will lose its foam.
  • Keep it in freezer for 2-3 hour to set half.
  • After that , take it out, beat using a egg beater .
  • Crush the bourbon biscuits and slowly fold it with ice-cream mix.
  • Again keep it in freezer until sets completely in closed container.
Lovely Bournbon ice-cream is ready. Scoop and serve alone or with any dessert.
