Bread Pan Cake

Cakes are soft lovely snack. Here comes a simple cake recipe "Bread Cake" with a nice combination of bread , milk and egg. Here we uses no all purpose flour or baking powder/ soda, hence it is a healthy cake recipe. It is easily cooked in anon-stick pan within 15-20 minutes.

Bread Pan Cake

INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION

  1. Bread: 5 slices
  2. Egg: 4
  3.  Milk: 1 cup
  4. Sugar:3-4 tbs
  5. Cardamom: 1
  6. Ghee: 2 tsp
  7. Cashew :for garnishing
METHOD OF PREPARATION

  • Soak the bread slices in milk for 3-4 minutes.
  • Grind soaked bread, egg , sugar and cardamom using a mixer jar to a smooth batter.
  • Adjust sugar level to your taste.
  • Now heat a thick-bottomed non-stick pan, Melt ghee in it.
  • Now pour the prepared batter and cook in low flame for 10 minutes with lid closed.
  • When it is half cooked, garnish the top with cashews.
  • Flip to other side to cook.
Yummy, soft and spongy  bread cake is ready. Slice and serve
