Ice-creams are lovable to everyone. Mostly our children are addicted to ice-creams. Ice-creams available in markets have many additives which are not safe to consume more. If we have recipe for yummy soft fluffy ice-creams, why can't we prepare at home for our lovable one's. Here is a simple recipe for such a lovable mango ice-cream. Mango pulp can be prepared either by puree the mango pieces or mango pulp is available in markets.
INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION- Milk: 1 cup
- Fresh cream / thick cream: 1 cup
- Condensed milk: 1/2 tin
- Mango pulp: 1 cup
- Sugar: 1/4 cup
- Whipping cream powder: 1 packet
- Orange food color:1/2 tsp( optional)
- Take 3/4 cup of milk in a large bowl and mix 1 cup of fresh or thick cream in it.
- Now add 1/2 tin condensed milk and mix well.
- Add 1 cup of mango pulp to it and fold well.
- To balance the sourness off mango add 1/4 cup of powdered sugar and mix well.
- If you want more color, add 1/2 tsp of orange food color, mix well and refrigerate it with bowl's mouth closed.
- When the ice cream mix sets 3/4 part, take out and beat to get a smooth fluffy texture.
- Beat whipping cream powder with 1/2 cup milk to get 2 cups of whipped cream.
- Fold whipped cream in the ice-cream mix to get mix well.
- You can also add finely chopped mango pieces to mix.(optional)
- Again cover the bowl and refrigerate to another 2-4 hours to get set.
